Lavender and Rose Deodorant

All Natural and Organic

Recipe:

3 Tbs. Coconut Oil

3 Tbs. Baking Soda

2 Tbs. Shea Butter

2 Tbs. Arrowroot

Essential Oils- Rose and Lavender

 

1. Mix your dry ingredients.
2.  In a glass jar, melt your Shea butter and Coconut oil. (coconut oil liquefies in warm weather, may already be melted). Put your small jar in a pot of water and slowly melt it over the stove.
3. Add your essential oils in the mix. Add your dry ingredients.
4. As your freshly made deodorant sits it will firm up. It does not need to be refrigerated and can be stored in the bathroom

 

For application, just put alittle bit on your fingertips and rub in as a lotion.

Welcome to our first blog post! We are excited to be starting a blog designed to educate, answer questions, and let everyone know what is going on at the office. We definitely appreciate your feedback if there if is a certain topic or question that would want us to discuss please let us know. This site is designed to be an informal way to communicate but it is ultimately here for YOU! We have some exciting changes currently underway at Axis Family Chiropractic. We are welcoming our new massage therapist, Jessica! (This also means we are saying good bye to Sheri. We will miss her greatly but wish her all the best in her move to Arkansas). Jessica is amazing and will be running some special deals in the month of August for those of you in need of a great massage. We will also be launching our August School Supply Drive for the entire month of August. Simply bring in a donation of school supplies to be given to a local elementary school in need, and you will be entered into a raffle. By the way, do any of you out there have any suggestions on what school would benefit the most from these supplies? We will be giving away free massages, chiropractic, acupuncture, relief lotion, gift cards, and more! The more donations we receive, the more we will give away!! The winners will be drawn on August 31st. We are also in the process of adding nutritional supplements into the practice and starting Monthly Health Classes to the community on various health topics.
